Via della Purificazione, on the corner with Piazza Barberini. This little street, which runs parallel to the world-famous Via Veneto, is paved with sampietrini, the cobblestones typical of ancient Rome, and climbs up towards Villa Borghese. It is flanked by noble residences and small shops.
Piazza Barberini is famous the world over for the Triton Fountain, designed and sculpted by Bernini in 1643. This was the first occasion on which the master sculptor had used Travertine, a marble of ancient Roman tradition that guests can also admire in the skilfully crafted décor of the rooms in the Hotel.
REVIEWS:
"We got a great rate on the room and it is in a great location...3-5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and just a few more to Trevi fountain and the Pantheon."
"The location is great, walking distance to the spanish steps and Trevis fountain, via veneto is around the corner and plenty of restaurants close to the hotel. If i go to Rome again i would book this hotel."
" Good shopping and quick walking access to a lot of good tourist spots. The room gave the impression of luxury and the size was good compared to most European Hotels."
" Highly recommend the nearby Trattoria Tritone restaurant - casual, but probably the best dining experience we had in Italy - better than other restaurants in Venice, Florence and Capri that we spent well over 200 euros per meal for 2 people!"
The location is great, as we could walk all over Rome without any difficulty, and it was right next to a metro stop for trips across the river to the Vatican."
